The Taste of ChocolateWhen Sirius thought of Remus, he was always reminded of the taste of chocolate.
He loved tasting that hint of vanilla after his morning cup of coffee but he loved nothing more than the taste of chocolate mixed with that vanilla.
Remus sighed as he walked in through the apartment door rubbing his temples as he nudged it close with his foot.
Looking around the room he noticed the lights were dimmed and there were white rose petals all over the floor.
He blinked looking at the rose petals, realizing they were leading along the hallway to his and Sirius’ bedroom.
He walked over to the small wooden coffee table beside the couch and saw a folded note lying on it.
He picked it up and opened it, seeing a scribbled note across the parchment.
I’m waiting for you in our bedroom, with chocolate. Hurry, love. Xoxo
Remus grinned as he re-read the note before setting it back down on the table.
He slid off his jacket and draped it over the back of the couch a
The Taste of VanillaSirius always loved waking up in the morning, it was the only time he had with Remus before he had to rush off to work.
He really loved it after Remus had his first cup of coffee; it always left the taste of vanilla on his lips.
Oh how he loved that taste, mixed with the bitterness of Remus’s scent and faint taste of chocolate.
With a groan Sirius pushed himself up from the bed and looked over at Remus still curled up beneath the warm sheets.

Remus blinked his eyes open and looked up at Sirius, smiling in return.
“Morning.” He said cheerfully, slipping his arm around Sirius’ waist as he moved closer to him beneath the sheets.
“Sleep well?” Sirius chuckled sliding his arms around Remus’ n

Even though my eyes were closed
I could see it-

sweat dripped from my brow.
It was two in the afternoon but…
the sun was setting
through the window facing east.
I should have seen the hutch,
shelves lined with bone china
decorated with delicate leaves and vines.
I was so thirsty
and reaching for cups that should have been there.
Instead I found a billboard of butterflies,
the colors raging
more than any rainbow
I'd ever seen.
Their wings fluttered and flashed
yet somehow they moved in slow motion.
I wanted to stand,
wanted to reach out and touch them but…
I couldn't move,
and yet I laughed
ignoring my dry mouth
and the tingling in my feet.
There was a tempest
on the rise
and in my blood.
A sugar rush disguised
as a riot of butterflies
and they were swarming me.
There was a small vial
of insulin in my pocket
that I nev
